CLARITY Project Phase 4 – continued

This phase includes consultation with three cohorts of youth advisers, a world café which took place in May 2022 and a film festival to be hosted in 2023.

Since its establishment, the Blenk Family Fund, in collaboration with the KGH Foundation and Interior Health, has played a pivotal role in launching and financially supporting the groundbreaking CLARITY Project. This invaluable partnership has paved the way for advancements in youth mental health research and support.

About CLARITY

Community-Led Action for Resiliency Important Throughout Youth

In an effort to prevent suicide risk before it arises, the CLARITY Project aims to promote community-based initiatives and actions to support resiliency among all youth in our communities. This work includes heightening awareness among parents, teachers, doctors and community members about suicide risk.

Importantly, we hope to clarify the ways in which everyone involved in caring for our younger generation can help foster resilience in our youth and support a vibrant and hopeful future for our communities.

SUPPORTING CLARITY

With extensive resources including health professionals, researchers, mental health organizations and community members, the CLARITY team is taking some pioneering steps to strengthen the resilience of youth up to 25 years.

Led by Dr. Sana Shahram and Interior Health’s Research Department, the CLARITY project is supported by the Blenk Family, KGH Foundation and Interior Health.
